Wisconsin ADRC will host weekly Alzheimer's Disease Research Updates on Facebook Live in January

Thursdays in January, the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center will host Alzheimer's Disease Research Updates on Facebook Live. Presenters will offer short presentations and answer questions in a Q&A session in the comments. "Like" the Wisconsin ADRC Facebook page to receive notifications when the page goes live, or view archived Facebook Live presentations.

The following is a list of presenters and their topics:

January 7 at noon CST — Shenikqua Bouges, MD, assistant professor in the UW Department of Medicine Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology, will present "Dementia Overview and the Building Bridges Project."

January 14 at noon CST — Taryn James, PhD, assistant scientist in the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, will present "Waist-to-hip Ratio, the Metabolic Syndrome and Cognition."

January 21 at noon CST — Taryn James, PhD, assistant scientist in the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, will present "Air Pollution and Its Effects on Cognition."

January 28 at noon CST — Shenikqua Bouges, MD, assistant professor in the UW Department of Medicine Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology, will present "COVID-19 Updates for 2021."
