You are invited to the The Impact of the African Americans Fighting Alzheimer’s in Midlife Study: An Event Celebrating Research and Research Participation, presented by the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC), the African Americans Fighting Alzheimer's in Midlife (AA-FAIM) study and the Wisconsin Registry for Alzheimer’s Prevention (WRAP) with support from CLARiTI - Wisconsin.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the 2nd floor of Madison College's Goodman South Campus, which is located at 2429 Perry St, Madison, WI 53713.
The goal of this event is to provide updates on research findings and the contributions of research participants from the AA-FAIM study. Highlights include a free delicious brunch, a health and wellness fair, a performance from the Precious Memories choir, updates in memory research, and more. Free and open to all. Space is limited, registration available on a first come, first serve basis.

- You will be able to explore a Health & Wellness Fair after checking in.
- All attendees are requested to check in before the program begins at 10 a.m.
- Guests arriving late (after 10 a.m.) might be seated in an overflow room with a live feed of the speakers on a monitor. Please note that arriving after 10 a.m. may also result in missing the brunch buffet.
- Study table exhibitors and event staff and might be seated in the overflow room.
- Parking is free in the rear lot of the Goodman South Campus, Madison College (From S. Park Street turn onto W. Badger Road heading west; then turn left on Perry Street to access the rear parking lot behind the main building.)
