American Family Insurance Championship will help raise money for Alzheimer's disease research

The UW Initiative to End Alzheimer's and the American Family Insurance Championship are partnering to raise money for Alzheimer's disease research through the Birdies to End Alzheimer's fundraiser. The event will take place June 22-24, 2018, at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wisconsin. People making donations can pledge a certain amount of money toward each birdie made during the three-day golf tournament. All funds raised through Birdies to End Alzheimer's will support the UW Initiative to End Alzheimer's to develop treatments, improve care, and find a cure for the disease.

American Family Insurance, the PGA Tour of Champions, and 12-time PGA Tour winner and Wisconsin native Steve Stricker launched the American Family Insurance Championship in 2016. The event supports the American Family Children's Hospital in Madison and other local organizations through the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation. The tournament will feature golfers Jerry Kelly, John Daly, Billy Andrade, Scott McCarron, Kevin Sutherland, and many more. Tickets for the American Family Insurance Championship are available at AmFamChampionship.com/tickets.
