Dr. Chin will see patients in the UW Health Memory Clinic in Madison three half-days per week and conduct health services research related to Alzheimer's disease and dementia in the Wisconsin ADRC.

He completed an internal medicine fellowship at the University of California, San Diego, and it was during this time that Dr. Chin’s father was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease. His father’s condition influenced the way he began to look at his profession, and Dr. Chin decided to pursue a career as a geriatrician and scientist focused on AD and dementia. Dr. Chin completed a one-year geriatrics fellowship and a six-month dementia fellowship at the UW.
