The Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin State Conference 2026 will take place May 19–20 in Wisconsin Dells. Held annually, the conference is designed for professional and family care providers and is one of the largest and most comprehensive statewide events dedicated to Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
Nathaniel Chin, MD, will present a keynote talk, “Beyond 'Just Aging': A Practical Framework for MCI, Biomarkers and MABs.”
Several experts from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health will lead workshops:
- Kala Cornelius, DNP, MSN, Carrie Trojanczyk, BA, and Cassandra Thomas, BS, will present “Adapting the American Indigenous Cognitive Assessment.”
- Alexis Eastman, MD, will present, “The Brain in Distress: Behavior Changes in Dementia.”
- Victoria Williams, PhD, will present, “Assessing Decision-Making Capacities in Older Adults.”
