Dr. Chin appointed to planning committee for national pre-clinical diagnosis workshop

The National Institute on Aging and the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine appointed Nathaniel Chin, MD, to the Committee on Behavioral and Social Research and Clinical Practice Implications of Biomarker and other Preclinical Diagnostics of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and AD-related Dementias (AD/ADRC). The committee will organize and convene a two-day, open workshop on pre-clinical diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and AD-related Dementias (ADRD) for behavioral and social science researchers.

Other members of the committee are Reisa Sperling, MD, Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center; Jessica Langbaum, PhD, Banner Alzheimer’s Institute; and David Bennett, MD, Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center.
