Fabu Carter, PhD, was recently presented with the 2022 Champion of Hope Award by NewBridge Madison. A senior outreach program manager with the Wisconsin ADRC, Carter recruits study participants from varied backgrounds to enhance the value of Alzheimer’s disease research. In addition, she facilitates enriching, brain-healthy activities such as the Arts and Poetry Cafe with NewBridge and the Get Movin’ fitness classes at the UW South Madison Partnership office.
