Sanjay Asthana, MD, founding director of the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and internationally renowned researcher and leader in the field of Alzheimer's disease, recently celebrated 20 years of service at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Among his many accomplishments, the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) recently invited Asthana to serve a four-year appointment on the National Advisory Council on Aging.
