Dr. Yue Ma is the co-leader of the Data Management and Biostatistics Core of the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC).
Dr. Ma’s research includes two closely related components: First, through the application of advanced statistical methods to research, understand the causes and longitudinal progression of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and improve diagnosis and prevention of the disease. Second, solve methodological challenges encountered in AD research, evaluate the performance of statistical methods, develop new methods, and provide recommendations for their applications. Her statistical methodological interests include longitudinal data analysis, multilevel modeling, structural equation modeling, latent variable models, mediation analysis, and the evaluation of psychometric properties.
